On 2-3 November 2010, the Second Annual SMART GRIDS China Conference & Exhibition took place in Shanghai. It was a top-level interactive conference, with industry leaders and innovators discussing the ideas and solutions in key areas of distribution level and customer end devices: smart distribution management systems, demand management, smart home and smart buildings, electrical vehicles on the grid, investment and funding.
Mr. Klaus Ziegler made a presentation “Smart grids and Standards in the EU”, introducing the standardization for Smart Grids in CEN and CENELEC, Smart Grids at ETSI: machine to machine perspective; and EU-China cooperation in Smart Grid standards.
